Drummer on a budget but seeking cymbals of great sound and quality, wonders if Chang can compete with the big guns (Zildjian, Paiste, Sabian etc) and sets out on a mission to find out!
Who Am I?
My name is Chris, I am British and work for a Chinese University in Eastern China (have been here or 16 years!). My drumming level is medium at best (Niel Peart has nothing much to worry about!) but I love playing and am highly selective when it comes to cymbal quality! (NB: This website was set up by me personally where i aim to give a fair appraisal of chang cymbals - it was not set up by Chang themselves!)

Honest reviews of the Chang cymbals, with comparisons to Zildjian.
Most cymbals reviewed so far were the mid-range offerings which were a long way north of the budget/entry level ranges, but a long way south of the top/professional level stuff for both Zildjian and Chang). More reviews to come - hopefully obtaining some of the higher ranges..... watch this space!).
